  Worst. DQ. EVER. I ordered a twist cone dipped in butterscotch, and it was so terrible I had to throw it out. The ice cream was sour and seemed to be carbonated. My friend, who used to work at Dairy queen, said the ice cream gets this way when the machines are not cleaned out well. Absolutely disgusting.

  This used to be my favorite DQ but the past couple of times iv been disappointed. I went there tonight and ordered a peanut buster parfait thinking how can they mess that up, but they did. I have always gotten a layer of hot fudge on the bottom middle and top (as shown in the picture on the sign) but tonight I got one splash on bottom and one splash on top I pretty much got a cup of vanilla ice cream with 3 peanuts and a pump of fudge.

  Unlike my picky DQ connoisseur beneath me, I didn't see a need to ask about caffeine contents of the new coffee(keyword) drinks that are so tacky, they fly off the shelves of every store that sells them. I'm sad to see that such a minimal experience left him with a bitter taste in his mouth, perhaps a vanilla cone would help?
  
  Anyhow, I love this Dairy Queen. Sure you get your average 16 year old behind the counter, but they've always been positive and upbeat, I've never run into a service problem. The ice cream itself is delicious, maybe it's because I grew up on DQ, but I prefer it to the "real" stuff from your typical Cold Stones. And this DQ in particular, is close to every Roseville-ians(?) heart. It's an outdoor stand with a few large tables, and gets pretty packed on hot weekend nights, and the first warm week of summer when we can finally come out of our holes and play comfortable in the sun. We all wait endlessly for our hometown DQ to open up, and it never fails us serving delicious blizzards, cones, and treats galore. It's a cornerstone in our lives, and while the workers may filter through, the nostalgia and tradition don't.
  
  Be sure to stop by this DQ if you're ever racing through town, or new to the area.
